Arboriculture and Woodlands

Tree Survey, Cornford House, Pembury

We have extensive experience of tree survey and conservation. The Principal is an arboriculturalist with over 30 years experience of advising on trees within historic landscapes.

Weddles have been involved with several sensitive historic restoration projects, usually requiring arboricultural appraisal and management. These projects are often associated with proposed work to Listed Buildings and in Conservation Areas.

Local to our Sheffield office we have carried out tree surveys and advised on conservation at Stoke Hall in the Peak Park, Dore Parish Church, Broomhall in Sheffield and Moorhall in Ranmoor.

We are currently involved with a number of development sites, some with Tree Preservation Orders and within Conservation Areas or near Listed Buildings.

Hazard Tree Assessment

Our approach is highly biased towards realistic and cost-effective tree protection and conservation, only prescribing tree surgery as a last resort.

After several years of involvement in cable trenching programmes throughout the UK, we have only had to recommend five trees for felling.

We undertake a full tree survey to BS5837:2005, and provide a tree protection scheme to comply with the BS.
