The Practice

Weddle Landscape Design is a Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning consultancy established in 1957 and incorporated as Landscape Research Office Limited in 1987.  We are based in Sheffield but have a National and broadranging portfolio.

The practice is primarily a landscape architecture consultancy with well respected technical strength in arboriculture, site planning, design and contract documentation and wide experience of ecological and environmental appraisal.

We provide a quick and flexible response to clients' requirements combining excellence in design with cost effective solutions.  Our track record of good design is well established and backed up by many awards.

Achieving results on the ground is our priority; we have the capability to progress schemes rapidly from appraisal and design through to contract and completion. We are experienced in contract administration as lead consultants and as members of multi-disciplinary design teams. We believe that early incorporation of landscape design and management expertise into development projects can bring major benefits of a fundamental kind and often for a cost saving.
